Your Hand Will Guide Me! (Psalms 139:7-10 )

Today, I would like to share with you a wonderful word written through King David, which reveals to us the greatness and power of God's presence over our lives:

Psalm 139:7-10 Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me.

» In the Shadow of the Almighty

Anyone who is faithful to God has the full conviction that the Lord is very close to them. This intimacy is beautifully described right at the beginning of Psalm 91:

Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

Think about the deep meaning of this promise. To rest in someone's shadow, we need to be extremely close to that person. Being in the shadow of our God means that He is so close to us that His very presence covers us, shelters us, and brings us rest.

» No Limits to God's Care

In Psalm 139, David acknowledges that for God there are no limits or distances. There are no geographical, emotional, or spiritual barriers that can stop our God from keeping, guiding, and protecting us. Wherever we are going, His hand will lead us and hold us firmly.

May you rejoice today and fill your heart with the power of this Word!

» Allow Yourself to Be Guided

We know that our God is omnipotent and omnipresent. He can do all things. However, there is something very important you must always remember: He wants to do all these things in our lives, as long as we allow Him.

When we hand over control and allow Him to act, the Lord God guides us along the path He Himself has set for our lives. With Him in charge, we are guaranteed to reach the planned destination, fulfilling God's purpose for us in this world and achieving the greatest goal of all: salvation on the last day.

Therefore, trust in God. No matter where you are today or the severity of the situation you are facing: absolutely nothing can stop the Lord from guiding you, delivering you, and sustaining you.

Believe this and rest in the shadow of the Almighty!
