Glory in Knowing God (Jeremiah 9:23-24)
The joy of knowing the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:
23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches,
24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight,” declares the Lord.

Here we see God emphasizing the extreme importance of knowing Him, to the point of declaring that in nothing else should a human being boast.
Our greatest reason for joy and honor should not be human wisdom, physical strength, or earthly riches, but the immense privilege of knowing God and understanding who He is: a God of mercy, justice, and righteousness.
» The Danger of Lack of Knowledge
The Lord, through the prophet Hosea, made a terrible statement that echoes to this day: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
Hosea himself exhorted the nation saying: “Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord.”
The Word of God is absolute truth. And whoever does not know the truth will inevitably be deceived. After all, how can you identify a lie if you do not know what is true?
» The Power and Fulfillment of the Word
Therefore, make an effort. Set aside precious time in your day to meditate on Scripture, to know the heart of God, and to understand His purposes.
The Word of God always comes to pass; Jesus Himself affirmed that not even a “dot” will pass until everything written is fulfilled.
The Word of God is pure power and enables us to act with wisdom in every situation of our daily lives.
» Flee Deception and Boast in the Lord
Those who neglect seeking God end up being destroyed by the lies of the enemy, who only seeks to distance people from God’s presence in order to steal, kill, and destroy.
Do not allow this to happen to you.
Seek this wonderful knowledge sincerely, fill yourself with the power of the Word, and flee the traps of this world.
May you seek the Lord with all your heart, and may your greatest joy and glory be to declare with full conviction: “I know the Lord!”
