When Everything Seems Lost! (Psalms 107:19-21)

One of the greatest encouragements for our faith in moments of crisis is recorded in the book of Psalms, revealing the transforming power of our cry to God.

Psalm 107:
19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress.
20 He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction.
21 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!

» Hope in the God of the Impossible

Here we see our God giving us a word of power and encouragement so that our hope remains alive. The desire of the Lord is that we look to Him and place our faith in an unshakable way. In this manner, what no longer has a solution in the natural world will happen through the move and providence of God.

» The Cry That Changes History

The psalmist declares that, in the midst of anguish, the people cried out to the Lord, and He sent His word, healing them and delivering them from what was mortal.

We know that extremely difficult situations happen to us and to those around us. However, hope must never die, and prayer must never cease.

Crying out to God changes the course of a story, and His power transforms the impossible into reality.

» The Promise of Deliverance and Healing

If you are facing severe battles today — whether addictions destroying your family, illnesses afflicting your body or the bodies of those close to you — cry out to the Lord! Seek your refuge in Him, and with absolute certainty He will send the power of His Word to deliver you, heal you, set you free, and bring the relief and help you so desperately need.

The promise of our God is clear: He does not abandon us and grants us victory at the right time.

» Trade Despair for Gratitude

Therefore, do not despair. How many times an attitude of desperation ends up producing blasphemies, complaints, and terrible words against God?

Position yourself correctly, doing what is right so that the Lord may resolve your need.

Cry out and seek God, believing that He has already sent His Word to heal you, and very soon you will be giving thanks to the Lord and praising Him for His infinite mercy and for the wonders He has done in your life!
